A teachable moment this week when Pastel Sandra exceeded her baggage allowance and we had to bail her out before the post office would deliver! Meanwhile Lost John went to Southampton, decided to extend his stay and spent the weekend in Cardiff visiting the castle and watching the runup to the marathon! He is now a record breaking owl because he has three pins on our UK map, and so he is very smug and is on his way home.

We've also heard from Zen Steve who is at the Lexicon in Bracknell and Doug who is having a lovely time in Brighton. Spike arrived back from Liverpool with a LFC card (big cheers from the football fans in the room). Pedro sent some photos and lots of information back from Runnymede where he had a run in with a National Trust Cafe and took part in a dramatic reenactment of the royal power struggles (he was assassinated with a wooden spoon). And Mango Marge reported back from Oswestry with lots of photos and a promise that she is on her way back with maps!

If you're in for Family Learning tomorrow, do make sure you check out the Owl Squad display in the classroom and have a look through the "photo owlbum" - it's really quite something. The squad has been EVERYWHERE. Hopefully Year 3 and 4 will be able to tell you all about it!

Tune in next week for more amazing adventures from the Owl Squad....
