As part of our Healthy Living Week, we took our children climbing today. Every class in our school, over a hundred children aged between 4 and 11 years old, challenged themselves to climb high and have fun. The recommendation is that all children take part in moderate to vigorous physical activity for at least 60 minutes every day. Our Aldermaston children can certainly tick that box today. It was a brilliant experience and the children were amazing!
Through activities like these and others on offer during Healthy Living Week, we are able to broaden children's experiences of physical activity and sports. We hope the children have had a fantastic week and you enjoy hearing about their Healthy Living Week experiences and what they have learnt about looking after their physical and emotional wellbeing.
