THIS WEEK: Breaking news from our rogue owl, Lorraine, whom we last saw living the high life in London. She then found her way to the airport and snuck onto a Ryanair flight to Naples. You can see her in the photograph admiring Mount Vesuvius, and she also enjoyed a pizza and a visit to the ruins in Pompeii. We have explained that this was not the brief; Italy is NOT in the UK, and she is to return home at once and stop messing us all around. (Lorraine is now the uncontested favourite owl in the class as the children are delighted with her extreme naughtiness and refusal to follow any rules at all.) 

Lost John returned home from Southampton and Cardiff, with lots of photos. He saw cool sculptures, visited the civic centre and the ancient city walls and also managed to relax in a cool cafe on his way home! Zen Steve had a fab weekend in Bracknell and sent his snaps of the Lexicon, The Lookout and Coral Reef. Jimmy The Penguin paid a visit to Muschamp Primary School in South London and is on his way back. And Doug sent us a whole Powerpoint of his exploits on the South Downs - as well as Brighton Pier and some of the historic buildings in Lewes, he also treated us to some videos of an amazing starling murmuration over the sea, the cool parasailing on the South Downs and even a photograph of the Northern Lights!
