You should all have your lovely new yellow reading records! A reminder that children are expected to read every night for at least ten minutes, and get a parent or carer to sign their reading record. We will count up the reads every Friday and let you know how your child's class is getting on by giving you a percentage of the kids who made their "five a week!"

Please do everything you can to support and encourage your child to get into good reading habits, and to bring their record into school every Friday - it's been proven again and again that children who read regularly progress faster and more consistently than children who do not. And don't forget that a visit to the Reading Cafe after school on Thursday counts as one of your five!

Well done to Kingfishers this week for topping the podium. Let's see some big scores this Friday!
