Starlings class had an action packed trip to Abernant Lake Activity Center in the Brecon Beacons, Wales. The children took part in a wide range of activities from canoeing to climbing, raft builfding, orienteering, fencing an abseiling, to name but a few !
The weather was cold and snowy, but the activities carried on with children fuelled by a big cooked breakfast and hot cholcolate.
This annual residential trip is a milestone in the lives of primary school children, developing independence, confidence and team work before making the big move to senior school. It's a wonderful opportunity for personal development and memory making. I think all of the children came back happy, tiered and just a bit dirty !
