Abernant Residential 2024 - Day 1

Hello from Abernant!

We have arrived safely in a very soggy and wet Wales, but we have jumped straight in and enjoyed two activities! Firstly, we enjoyed getting our bearings and exploring the Abernant Lake Hotel site with orienteering. We had to solve the clues and locate the orienteering posts. The groups' competitive side came out with groups racing around the site to complete their tasks.

After orienteering, we enjoyed dinner together before heading out for our evening activity - Evening walk. The group enjoyed a lovely 3 mile walk through the surrounding village and countryside. We explored and discovered local plants and wildlife.

Tired out after a busy first day, Starlings are getting some much needed rest for the next day's adventures and activities.
