Visit to Rushall Farm – Monday 3rd July 2023
To reinforce and enhance last term's Geography learning on Rivers, we would like to visit the River Pang at the Rushall Farm education centre, Upper Bucklebury, near Pangbourne on Monday, 3rd July. During this visit children will have the opportunity to carry out first hand geography investigations led by staff from the education centre. Activities will include observing some of the features we have been studying in class such as meanders, bank erosion and deposition; measuring the depth and speed of the river at a shallow, safe point on the river; and pond/river dipping.
We will be travelling by mini bus and will leave school around 9.30am and be back in time of the end of the school day.
